HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: MAKING THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE
A Photography Competition for CCSD High School and CSN

I. CONTEST THEME

Walker Furniture is calling for entries to a photography competition entitled “Home for the Holidays: Making the World a Better Place.” We invite CCSD High School students to submit a photograph that represents a possibility or part of a solution that would contribute in making the world we live in a better place. It is open to artistic interpretation, yet the message must be clearly understood.
Question for discussion among students might be “What kind of change is important to you?” and “How might this change come about?”

There will be three winning photographs. One or more of these will be used in the newspaper ad requesting letters to nominate recipients for Walker Furniture’s 16th Annual “Home For The Holidays” furniture give-a-way. The name of the winning student and school will be credited in the newspaper announcement.
